About the Artist
Arthur Mahlon earned his BFA in fine metals from the prestigious University of the Arts in 1994. He also holds an Associates degree in industrial design.
As a goldsmith and silversmith, Art created fine jewelry for respected designers throughout the 90s.
His work has appeared in numerous juried art shows and galleries.
A ferret owner since 1999, Arthur has made many ferret-themed jewelry items and paintings for his web designer wife Patty over the years. As a result of the many compliments on her one-of-a-kind ferret jewelry, Patty suggested that maybe other people would be interested in wearing Art's designs, and thus the Ferret Forge was born.
Art, his wife, and their four ferrets currently live in Berks County, Pennsylvania.
Their three-year-old ferret Michael Jones serves as art diretor and loves everything colored bright green. He approves of this website.
